WHY WE BUILT THIS
After 2 years working as a locksmith, I realised there wasn't a single piece of software that actually understood how a locksmith shop runs. General inventory systems were too generic. Big retail POS platforms were overkill, and expensive. Nothing handled the specific combination of key blanks, transponders, vehicle lookups, dispatch jobs, and invoicing that makes up a typical day on the job.
So I built it myself. LockStock Inventory Management System started as a tool I used in my own shop. Over time it grew into a complete platform — inventory, POS, dispatch, VIN decoder, invoicing, reports — everything a locksmith business needs to run professionally, all in one place, accessible from any browser.
The goal with LockStock IMS has always been simple: give independent locksmiths a professional, fully managed system at a price that makes sense for a small shop. No IT department required. No contracts. No tiers to figure out. Just a tool that works.
